The Story
Two
Schools.
One
Court.
Neema Village is a school and community in Moshi, Tanzania — at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro — home to hundreds of kids who love basketball with a ferocity that would surprise you.
They play on dirt. With cracked balls. Without lines, without hoops that stay level, without a surface that doesn't turn to mud in the rain. They play anyway. Every day.
Chase is a junior at Suffield Academy. Elan is a sophomore at Belmont Hill. They didn't know each other before this. But they share the same conviction: a kid who has a safe place to play grows up differently.
So they didn't wait for someone else to do it. Elan's family bridged construction costs upfront. Chase brought his network and energy. Together they're raising $12,000 to complete the court, repay the bridge loan, and ensure the court serves the Neema community for years to come.
When it's done — they're going back. To play on it. With the kids who inspired this whole thing.
